Injured Teeth

Immediate action is critical to save your teeth.

Urgent Care for Injured and Damaged Teeth

When you’ve damaged a tooth from an accidental injury, you need to get care as quickly as possible. The sooner you get care, the easier it is to extend the life and health of your damaged tooth. Dr. Lance Timmerman offers same day emergency dental care in Seattle for patients with dental emergencies and injured teeth.

When is an Injured Tooth an Emergency?

Every tooth injury should be treated seriously. Even very minor bumps or chips in the teeth could be indicative of future dental concerns. If you’ve suffered damage to your teeth, it’s time to call our Seattle dental office for an exam. Dr. Lance Timmerman will have a digital x-ray taken of the area to inspect the surrounding bone structure, the root of the tooth, and possible damage to the nerve.

If Your Tooth Breaks

If your tooth has actually broken or fallen out, we ask that you place it in a cup of milk or saline and bring it to Dr. Timmerman’s office as soon as possible. It may be possible to place the broken or damaged tooth back into your mouth. Take special care not to try to scrub or clean it off, as this can damage thin fibers that help the tooth or enamel be reinserted into your mouth.

“This was the greatest dental experience I have ever had. The staff were over the top and Dr. Timmerman was the best. I came in as a new patient needing an immediate tooth extraction, I was able to get an appointment within a few hours of my call and within 25 minutes I had checked in, had an exray and had my tooth removed. The removal took a couple of minutes with no pain and no discomfort. I was, and continue to be amazed at how professional, friendly and competent this team was. I will recommend Dr. Timmerman and staff to all I know and they will certainly be my new dentist from here on.”
