Get to Know Lance Timmerman, DMD, PS
Born and raised in Kirkland, Dr. Timmerman believes that a true dentist is also an artist, and he even displays works of art in our office (including a sculpture he made with his own hands) to demonstrate his aesthetic-minded eye. Seeing people smile brighter after their appointments is always a joy, which is why his office is open to new patients and families who are ready to achieve the dental health and happiness they deserve. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
In his younger years, Dr. Timmerman had a summer job where he delivered retainers to various practices for the local orthodontic lab. This close proximity to dentistry eventually ignited a lifelong interest that developed into a viable career path – and the rest is history.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Timmerman achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Oral Health and Sciences University. Since then, he has pursued continuing education diligently (including courses at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute) and studied specialties like dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and sleep apnea therapy. Today, he is a celebrated international lecturer who has earned the following accreditations:
- Mastership – Academy of General Dentistry
- Diplomate – American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine
- Fellowship – International Congress of Oral Implantologists
- Fellowship – The International Academy of Facial Aesthetics
Dr. Timmerman is also a current member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry,
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Timmerman has a beautiful wife and three active daughters who keep him very busy. Outside of dentistry, his top passions are traveling and good food! He’s a seasoned world traveler who is fluent in French and is licensed to practice in such far-away locales as Belgium and Dubai. He is also an avid fan of cycling and has flown overseas to watch the Tour de France in person.
