Fast and Easy: Teeth Whitening Takes Years Off of Your Smile
Remove Years of Stain for a Fresher Smile
Teeth whitening is one of the simplest, most straight-forward ways for Dr Timmerman’s patients to enhance the appearance of their smile. As we age, our teeth naturally darken from the foods we eat, or from things like:
- Coffee, tea, or red wine
- Tobacco use
- Prescription medications
The porous surfaces of our teeth allow stains to set deeply within them so they can’t be brushed or polished off. This causes our teeth to begin to get darker or yellower the older we get. This can impact our self-confidence, how others see us, and prevent us from making that first impression when it really matters most.
Seattle Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Lance Timmerman in Tukwila offers effective whitening treatments that can transform both his patients’ smiles and their lives. His whitening options are a simple way to have the smile you want, when you want it.
Dr Timmerman’s cosmetic teeth whitening treatments in Seattle give you results that exceed your expectations. Our treatments are:
- Low to no sensitivity
- Ideal for ages 14 and up
- Designed to remove even the toughest stains to produce lasting results
“Teeth whitening is one of the simplest and best ways to enhance your smile. Our office specializes in advanced treatment and you can leave looking and feeling great, taking years off your appearance.”
Teeth Whitening Factors
There are 3 main aspects to whitening teeth:
- Gel concentration
- Frequency of exposure
- Duration of treatment
It should be no surprise (and perhaps even intuitive) that stronger gels, done daily, over a long period of time will get better results than a low concentration gel used once for 20 minutes.
Depending on your needs and the severity of the staining present on your teeth, we offer three different types of whitening services:
In-Office One Hour Whitening
Our one-hour Zoom teeth whitening treatment is a great way to jump-start your whitening. In just one visit, we can whiten your teeth by several shades. Since the exposure is only a single visit, it is limited in how deeply the treatment can penetrate the tooth structure. However, with today’s busy lifestyle this can be a great way to “test the waters” of teeth whitening.
During your appointment, we will protect your gums with a liquid barrier that hardens with a light, apply professional grade whitening gel to your teeth, and then use an accelerating light to speed up the stain release process. All you have to do is just sit back and relax while we do the rest! The whitening gel is then rinsed away and reapplied 2 or 3 different times until the full whitening results are achieved. The entire appointment lasts just over one hour and you’ll have a brand new smile as soon as you walk out our front door.
Professional Take-Home Whitening Trays
Each customized whitening tray holds professional strength gel right where you need it most. We recommend wearing your tray while you sleep (8 hours?), for 10-14 days. You’ll see dramatic results and with touch-up applications you can have whiter teeth for a lifetime.
With our take-home custom whitening trays you’ll get better results than you would from our in-office whitening treatment, and in the convenience of your own home. Unlike one-size-fits-some type whitening trays available at the supermarket, our trays are custom fitted and use professional grade gel that whitens better than anything you have access to at a retail store or salon.

KöR Deep Bleaching Extreme Whitening
To get your teeth as white as they can be without placing porcelain veneers, the most effective treatment is KöR Whitening.
This is a method, not a product, that incorporates many products and methods. It DOES include in office treatment as well as take home trays, but the trays are very unique and best done at an outside lab.
“KöR Whitening is a complex and complicated system, but I have never had a single patient where it did not achieve (or exceed) their teeth whitening goals!”
